Xavier Desmaison is CEO and co-founder of the Antidox Group (Antidox, ComCorp, Anseres, Choiseul Advisory). He is a member of the executive committee of the ADIT group and Vice-Chairman of the public affairs firm ESL. He is also Vice-Chairman of the Choiseul Institute, a lecturer at Sciences Po and a publisher.

He is an expert on the French Economic Intelligence Observatory (OIEF) and a member of Arcom’s Online Hate Observatory.

Involved in the voluntary sector, he is a director, board member and treasurer of the Agence du don en nature (ADN), which helps the underprivileged by collecting and redistributing new non-food products. He chairs Civic Fab, a citizens’ organisation that puts digital technology to work on projects of public interest and social innovation, specialising in the fight against hate speech and the development of critical thinking. He heads the Honorary Committee of the France Fraternités association, which promotes the fundamental values of the Republic and is developing an innovative model of accommodation centres for recognised refugees. He sits on the board of Cercle K2, a think tank dedicated to security.

He is collection director and administrator at Editions Hermann. Since 2006, he has taught ‘European Issues’ and ‘Communication Strategy and Crisis Management’ at Sciences-Po. He has lectured at a number of schools (HEC, IESA, ISCOM, IAE de Poitiers, Université Paris Saclay).

As a business angel, he sits on the board of a dozen start-ups, particularly in the greentech, edtech, artificial intelligence and media sectors. An art lover, he is a co-founder and member of the editorial board of the art magazine Prussian Blue, as well as a board member and treasurer of the Société des amis du Musée Marmottan Monet.

He was formerly a director of a consulting firm specialising in digital strategy and social listening. His previous work involved responsibility for strategy, business development and marketing at an Internet start-up, then a role handling content at Yahoo! France. Following this, he worked as a financial analyst at CAI Cheuvreux in London, then as a strategy analyst at Arcelor and with the Caisse d’Épargne’s Management Board. He is a graduate of the Sciences-Po and Essec institutions, and holds a DEA in economics and a history degree from the Université Paris-Dauphine.
