Claire Calmels holds a Master’s degree in European Union Law and Litigation (Panthéon Assas Paris-II University, Paris) and an LL.M in European Legal Studies (College of Europe, Bruges).
She worked for five years in the political sector as an advisor to a political group in the Senate, where she was responsible for economic issues (energy, industry, agriculture), regional planning (transport, sustainable development) and European affairs.
Previously, she also worked in public affairs at Fipra International in Brussels on the decarbonisation of industries and then in Paris at CommStrat, where she focused on industrial, energy and mobility issues.
In 2024, Claire Calmels joined ESL Rivington, where she works on economic intelligence and public affairs assignments.
