Rana holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Cairo University and a master’s degree in development studies and a second master’s degree in law, economics and management, with a specialisation in comparative politics in Africa and the Middle East from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
After gaining experience with international organisations (United Nations World Food Programme) and humanitarian NGOs, where she worked on issues related to geopolitical analysis, security and institutional cooperation, she joined the consulting firm ESL-Rivington as an intern before being hired as a consultant.
At ESL-Rivington, Rana Hesham has established herself as a public affairs consultant, working in France and internationally. She specialized in the agri-food and healthcare sectors, supporting several key players on regulatory and territorial issues. She also leads missions in Africa and the Middle East, combining geopolitical analysis and influence strategies, with a particular focus on local and regional dynamics.
